Conventional
Flash Video
We can create a conventional video using any
combination of camcorder video, stock video clips,
static text, static line art, motion graphics with
text, computer monitor screen recording and still
photos. We then encode the finished video as Flash
video with a quality level and file size appropriate
for your application. Flash video is used when you
want to embed the video in your web page.
On this page from my favorite client's website, all
but the first two videos are R.A.M. Video
productions. Some of these are samples from "how to"
DVDs.

Quicktime
Movies
The most recent versions of Quicktime and Flash are
comparable in terms of picture quality. Quicktime can
be embedded in your web page, but it really shines
when you are producing movies for your visitors to
download to their hard drive.

Editing Existing Video
This
client brought us a seven and a half minute DVD they
used in a presentation to live audiences. They asked
us to shorten it to five minutes and install it on a
web page - without disturbing the story line or the
cinematic quality.

Custom Walk On Spokesperson Videos
This is a variation on Flash video that makes it
appear as if your spokesperson is walking on to your
web page. This really grabs the viewer's attention in
a way that conventional videos can't match. We have
access to actors who can serve as your spokesperson.
For a custom walk on, we work with you to find the
right actor for the job. If you are located within a
reasonable traveling distance of Atlanta, GA, we can
use you or one of your employees as the spokesperson.
We'll even bring our portable studio to your location
for the shooting session.

Exclamations!
- Generic Walk On Spokesperson
These are created just like the custom videos, but
the actors speak a short word or phrase that could be
used by many websites. The generic nature of these
short videos allow us to charge a very low price.

Screen
Capture and/or Screen Recording
Tools such as Camtasia Studio have allowed many
people to create "videos" without the need for a
camcorder. And there are situations where screen
recording is the best approach, such as software
tutorials and website demos. But screen recording
requires many of the same skills as conventional
video editing. We make use of a Mac based tool called
ScreenFlow to create some unique, high quality screen
recording presentations.

DVD
Production
For the creation of physical products. We have
experience in the creation of "how to" DVDs as well
as live music performance DVDs. See the Conventional
Flash Video section above for some samples of "how
to" DVDs.
